Verification provides a pedigree search to determine whether a Shorthorn qualifies for Heritage Status, if both parents are not already documented as Heritage/Native. If confirmed as qualified by pedigree, bulls are then added to the HSS Verified Bull Listing. Search will also indicate whether a Shorthorn can be registered as Heritage-Influenced, if it’s not qualified as fully Heritage.
